Course Description:
This 6-hour educational seminar is designed for clinicians and ATPs who desire
to improve strategies for client assessment, selection of support surfaces,
application of manual and power mobility, and utilization of 24-hour positioning
strategies to support individual client needs. The seminar is 6-hours in length
and will include the following sections.

• Primary Support Surfaces for Seating and Posture
• Clinical Considerations for Wheelchair Prescription
• Using Tilt Bases for Pressure, Posture, and Participation

Sarah Leonard, PT, DPT, ATP
Sarah is part of the clinical education team at Sunrise
Medical, serving as the Clinical Education Manager within
the northeast region. As a physical therapist, Sarah has
spent her career in neuro rehabilitation, working primarily
in spinal cord and brain injury rehabilitation. She has
experience working as a PT in seating clinic and as an ATP
for a national complex rehabilitation supplier. Sarah has
trained under industry-leading professionals, expanding
her knowledge of seating and mobility and fostering her
passion for education.
