Summary:

The Driver/Warehouse Technician will wear multiple hats within our operations. In addition to delivering products to assigned locations, you will be responsible for supporting our operations with a variety of daily, weekly and monthly tasks, as well as undertaking special projects from time to time. You will be based out of our Columbus Hub and cover the southern part of Ohio.

Main responsibilities:

  • Delivers our custom wheelchairs to patient facilities or homes using company-provided vehicles.

  • Drops off and/or picks up demo chairs from facilities or homes that are out on loan.

  • Cleans, sanitizes and inspects manual and power wheelchairs that were previously out on loan and checks them back into inventory once completed.

  • Provides additional backup support for other departments including but not limited to supply chain, manufacturing, and service.

  • Assists in various facility maintenance projects when required.

  • Maintains a clean warehouse work environment

  • Follows company vehicle operating rules, including pre and post use vehicle inspections (using Fleetio vehicle management software)

  • Supports Wheelchair Assembly and Service teams in assembling or servicing wheelchairs when required.

Qualifications:

  • Clean driving record

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associates Degree preferred.

  • 5+ years of driving and warehouse experience

  • Capable of lifting 80 pounds

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate well both orally and in writing

  • Durable Medical Equipment (DME) knowledge a strong asset

  • Excellent computing skills with a strong understanding of Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with vehicle and warehouse safety protocols

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Supplemental Pay: Bonus opportunities 

Experience:

  • Commercial driving: 5 years (Required)
