NPL Home Medical Named One of the Best Places to Work in Ohio for 2026

NPL Home Medical Equipment has been named one of Crain’s Best Places to Work in Ohio for 2026, recognizing the company’s commitment to creating an environment where employees feel supported, valued and able to do their best work.

The annual awards celebrate organisations across Ohio that have developed outstanding workplace cultures. This year’s recipients span industries including healthcare, technology, manufacturing, construction, financial services and professional services, but are united by a shared understanding that investing in employees strengthens the entire organisation.

The recognition is particularly meaningful because employee feedback accounts for the majority of each company’s final score.

An Independent Assessment of Workplace Culture

Crain’s Best Places to Work program is independently administered by Best Companies Group, a workplace research firm specialising in identifying and recognizing outstanding employers.

Eligible organisations must have operated for at least one year and employ a minimum of 25 people in Ohio. Each participating company completes a detailed employer questionnaire covering its benefits, policies and workplace practices.

Employees then complete a confidential 77-question survey assessing their experience of the organisation and its culture. Employee responses account for 75% of the overall score, ensuring that the results are shaped primarily by the people who experience the workplace every day.

Following an in-depth analysis of both parts of the assessment, Best Companies Group determines which organisations meet its standard of workplace excellence.
